AIRDRIVE DESIGN Technology
The new generation of Caldia incorporates the AIRDRIVE DESIGN concept, designed to reduce inertia and improve rotational smoothness.

Robust monocoque frame
The reel benefits from the Monocoque (MQ) construction, which improves the rigidity of the mechanical assembly.

ATD-L and ATD Tough brake
Depending on the size of the reel, the brake system differs to adapt to different practices:
Sizes 2000 to 4000: ATD-L brake, very progressive and precise
Size 5000: ATD Tough brake with carbon discs, designed for more powerful fishing
These systems ensure optimal control of fights, even with powerful fish.
Fluidity and protection of the mechanics
The Caldia benefits from several technologies improving longevity and fluidity:
MagSealed: protects the mechanics against water and impurities intrusion
Cross Wrap: winding in crossed turns for perfect line management
Long Cast aluminum coil: optimizes casting distances
Light and rigid structure
In order to maintain a reduced weight without compromising solidity, the reel uses Zaion V, a carbon composite known for its excellent lightness/rigidity ratio.
The frame and rotor in Zaion V thus allow to combine solidity, sensitivity and comfort of use.
