Defi PLAISIR series was developed for Sea bass fishing from shore.

DP70
This rod is designed for shallow near shore bay areas where normal casting is needed, and used with sinking or floating type lures 1.2 to 3.5 inches long, and can accommodate soft lures and jigs with an effective quick stop and go motion. Small minnows and worms can be smoothly cast with this delicately tipped, strong well-balanced rod which can handle large sea bass and other fish from 27 to 31 inches.

DP83
In addition to ports and canals, mid-sized rivers, and estuaries, this frequently used 8’3” rod is perfect for fishing small beach areas. Targeting 15 to 27 inch sea bass, this rod can easily handle 31 to 35 inch sea bass from our field testing. From using lightweight lures for technical fishing to wading with 0.5oz lures, we recommend this rod for anglers who want to enjoy a wide variety of fishing conditions.

DP88
The perfect rod for deep wading, tackling “lunker” class sea bass. Keep the rod at eye level for several hours while wading in deep water.
