Everything starts from an idea

Fiiish, a young Breton company, was born from the passion of a graphic designer for sport fishing, Matthieu Guennal. He tinkers with his own lures at home. " I couldn’t find the lures I needed in the stores. My creations were working well, I was asked several times about my secret, some fishermen wanted to buy me some, that’s what prompted me to go further.

 

The beginnings of Fiiish

For two years, Matt designs lures, drips lead and plastic, tests and modifies his creations. In 2008, he talks about it to his brother Pierre, who lives in China and is associated with Frederic Orlach in a sourcing company. From this meeting comes a project. While Matt works on the first 3D sketches and the modeling of a prototype, Pierre studies the suppliers' offer, Frédéric conducts market research and sets up the legal structure.

 

 


Fiiish advocates for responsible fishing, and values the protection of the resource as well as the size of catches. In order to allow ecological continuity and so that future generations can also enjoy this magnificent passion, it is very important to take in a reasoned and responsible manner, and thus return as many catches as possible.
